Hysteroscopy is gaining increasing acceptance among surgeons as the initial surgical treatment of choice for managing abnormal uterine bleeding and submucous fibroids. With refinements in electrosurgery and laser ablation instruments, and the development of continuous-flow resectoscopes, hysteroscopic treatment indications.
